1. Wash headlights.
2. Cover metal and painted areas surrounding headlight with masking tape.
3. Allbrite Headlight Polish is formulated so that you can get results without needing to sand. However, if headlights are very yellowed or cloudy it might be necessary to wet sand them in order to restore them to their original condition. If this is the case, follow instructions A and B below; otherwise, go to Step 3.
A. Wet the headlights and the Ultra Fine sandpaper included in the kit with water.
B. With firm but even pressure, sand the headlights back and forth, making sure the sandpaper and headlights remain wet at all times. Continue sanding until the oxidation and cloudiness is removed. Rinse off the headlights and allow to dry.
4. Apply Allbrite Headlight Polish to one headlight at a time, working in small sections. Do not apply Allbrite Headlight Polish on hot surfaces. Place a dime-sized amount of Allbrite Headlight Polish on the wax applicator. Apply using small circular motions and firm and even pressure. Continue until entire headlight is polished.
5. Allow Allbrite Headlight Polish to dry. The surface will take on a hazy appearance.
6. Wipe off with a clean microfiber towel to reveal clear, shining headlights.
7. Make sure all Allbrite Headlight Polish has been wiped off the headlights before applying Allbrite Headlight Sealant.
8. Apply Allbrite Headlight Sealant to one headlight at a time, working in small sections. Do not apply Allbrite Headlight Sealant under full sunlight or on hot surfaces. Apply a quarter-sized amount of Allbrite Headlight Sealant with the clean side of your wax applicator. Apply using small circular motions and firm and even pressure. Continue until entire headlight has been covered.
9. Allow Allbrite Headlight Sealant to dry. The surface will take on a hazy appearance.
10. Wipe off with a clean portion of the microfiber towel.
11. For best results, re-seal your headlights again after 24 hours have passed. Then seal headlights once every 3 months for continued protection.
